All Guernsey companies, charities and non-profit organisations (NPOs) registered with the Guernsey Registry on or before 31 December 2025 are required to submit an annual validation by 28 February 2026.

How to file
Annual validations must be submitted via the Guernsey Registry Online Services Portal:
portal.guernseyregistry.com

Who can submit
Unless your organisation is managed by a corporate service provider or regulated presenter, the validation must be submitted by an authorised filer.

All legal persons must have a Resident Agent (unless exempt). The Resident Agent acts as both the authorised filer and nominated person. Further information on authorised filers and nominated persons is available at guernseyregistry.com.

Important note for charities and NPOs
Charities or NPOs that are also registered companies (for example, companies limited by guarantee) must submit two validations:

  • a company annual validation, and

  • a charity or NPO annual validation.

Late filing penalties
Organisations that fail to submit their annual validation by the deadline will be liable to a civil penalty.
