At our recent AGM, we welcomed four new Board members, bringing fresh energy, new ideas, and a shared commitment to supporting the island’s vibrant business community.
Nicholas Collinson, Katie Inder, Victoria Falla and Marcus Jones are all small business owners and leaders with a hands-on understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local enterprises. Katie and Nic also sit on the recently formed Innovate Guernsey Board, which champions forward-thinking solutions and long-term economic growth for the island.
Their backgrounds span strategy, innovation, and business development, making them a strong fit for Chamber’s evolving direction. As we look to the future, our focus remains clear: supporting local businesses to thrive and adapt in a changing environment.
“We’re really pleased to welcome Marcus, Victoria, Nicholas and Katie to the Board,” says Brooke Kenyon, Chamber’s Vice President.
”The enthusiasm from our members to get involved and contribute at this level is a real sign of the momentum we’re building. Their appointments reflect Chamber’s evolution – from a more traditional network to a modern, inclusive and relevant organisation. Together, they bring a great mix of skills, experience and perspectives that represent the richness of Guernsey’s business community, and we’re excited to have them on board.
They join a passionate and experienced returning board, including ex-President Di De Garis, long-standing board members, David Ummels, Justin Bellinger and James Ede-Golighty, led by President, Stephen Rouxel and Vice President Brooke Kenyon.

When asked what drew them to the Board, our new members spoke of the chance to help shape Guernsey’s business environment, give back to the local community, and help future-proof the island’s economy.
Katie Inder, who brings experience in strategy and communications, said her involvement in the Voice of Guernsey Business survey was a turning point:
“It was a really interesting piece of work that gave me valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses. It made me realise how much I’d like to be more involved in shaping positive change within our business community”
Marcus Jones also brings a strategic mindset and a strong track record in business development. He was drawn to the role by the quality and diversity of the Board, and the evolving remit of Chamber.
“I have a real passion for supporting local businesses and saw this as an opportunity to apply the skills I’ve developed in my career in a more holistic way,” he said. “At this stage in my career, I feel I have genuine value to add – and the time and confidence to do it.”
Looking ahead, Marcus is keen to contribute to Chamber’s long-term direction:
“Strategy is my sweet spot, so I’m really looking forward to helping Chamber clarify how it can best support the business community – and making sure we deliver on that. I’m also keen to work closely with local businesses, and to help influence government policy in ways that support sustainable growth.”
