We’d like to introduce you to our member, Gemma Coquelin, from Integrated Group as she answers a few of our questions:

1. Who are you & what do you do?

I’m a Business Development Manager at Integrated Group, where I focus on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities and help businesses create smarter, more efficient working spaces.

We support local businesses across Guernsey and Jersey with dilapidations, relocations, refurbishments, furniture, acoustics, biophilia, workspace planning and project management. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time with family and friends.

2. How did you end up doing this work?

After a long stint as a Project Manager at Specsavers I had a role on a 4-phase office fit out project at Butterfield and loved it, so here I am.

3. What’s the big ‘why’ behind your work?

I have a passion for building relationships and identifying new opportunities, helping businesses create smarter, more efficient working environments.

4. What’s something most people don’t know about your company, but they should?

As well as office fit outs the Integrated Group offer a wide range of compliance, fire and water safety solutions so we can do the whole package or just an element of it.

5. Tell us about a moment you felt proud of the difference your work made?

Getting feedback from a neurodivergent customer made my day, ‘‘With the improved acoustics, the space feels calm, welcoming, and accessible. For the first time, I can actually sit, stay, and enjoy the experience like everyone else.’’

6. What’s shaped how you think about your work?

Seeing the difference that the working environment can have on individuals, significantly improving productivity, morale and overall business performance.

7. Tea, coffee or something stronger, and where are we most likely to find you enjoying it?

You will most likely find me sipping an Espresso Martini at the Peninsula or Balthazar.
