The winner will have their artwork featured on the front cover of Chamber’s very own Contact Magazine

Former Chamber Events and Admin Executive Lauren Ridgwell is a talented photographer who came up with the idea of a regular Chamber Creative Competition as part of our support for creativity in every business sector.

‘Encouraging an Enterprise Culture’ is Chamber’s strapline and we recognise that, as well as being pivotal in business success, a creative approach also has huge value for health, wellbeing and community spirit.

Due to the success of the last initiative ‘Our Island’s Creative Competition’ which resulted in Ellie Atkinson’s stunning St Peter Port collage featuring on the front cover of the last issue of CONTACT, Chamber is making the next cover available for a winning entry.

The magazine, which is entirely Chamber’s intellectual property and showcase for initiatives, individuals and events, reaches many thousands of islanders and beyond in physical and digital form.

The broad requirement for entries is that the topic must be connected to or inspired by the Bailiwick of Guernsey, Herm, Alderney or Sark. Interpret this how you will! Judging by the substantial number of entries for the earlier competition, we can look forward to a hugely diverse assortment of art and design in all of its forms.

Shortlisted entries will be featured in our next issue of Contact Magazine with the winning one on the cover! Contact magazine is distributed island wide and is a coffee table style magazine with a six month shelf life! The winner will also receive a lovely hamper of local goodies, a Chamber lunch ticket of your choice for 2021 and access to our Lunch & Learn events at Chamber HQ.
