Camp de Rêves has been named the winner of the People and Planet Business of the Year Award, presented at the Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner.
Held in the company of 470 members of the island’s business community, the event featured businesswoman and sustainability champion, Mary Portas, who shared insights on the power of businesses to drive positive change.
Sponsored by Little Green, the People and Planet Award celebrates businesses that champion environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
With an impressive field of 16 entrants, the judging panel faced a difficult decision as each finalist, including Sure and Levin Solutions, showcased unique approaches to driving forward a better approach to business.
Camp de Rêves emerged as the winner for their dedication to both environmental stewardship and community engagement.
Award sponsor Ben Le Huray MD of Little Green praised the winner, noting,
“The team at Camp de Reves blew us away with their dedication to keeping the glampsite as green as possible. From vetting suppliers to considering alternative forms of energy, it’s clear that Jane, Danny and the team take their environmental impact seriously.
“Pairing this with testimonials from a happy workforce and a stunning workspace that provides them the space to excel, their commitment to planet is only matched by their commitment to their people. My congratulations go to the whole team and I’m excited to follow Camp de Reves’ sustainability journey moving forward.”
Alice Gill, Exec Director of Chamber said
