IsleDeliver is an independently run division of Guernsey Post offering ambient and chilled delivery solutions to a variety of businesses in Guernsey. Since it’s launch in July 2020 it has been working with two of Guernsey’s supermarkets; The Co-op and M&S. Helping Randall’s grow their online store – Case Study
During Guernsey’s COVID-19 lockdown period Randall’s developed an online retail store as a ‘direct to customer’ solution, as their usual business customers were forced to close. The online offering proved extremely popular and sales grew quickly.
Once businesses re-opened their doors the direct to customer demand continued, but the business now lacked the staff and vehicles to be able to continue home deliveries alongside their normal trade. Randall’s contacted IsleDeliver to help them resolve their problem. Following an initial telephone call and meeting IsleDeliver began handling the deliveries of Randall’s online sales.
IsleDeliver now collects the orders each day and delivers them up to 7.30pm, offering a fully tracked service for the customers goods. Each item is scanned into the delivery vehicle and then again once delivered, offering both Randall’s and the customer a real time status of the orders.
Randall’s can now concentrate on their wholesale trade and develop their store knowing that the delivery is taken care of.
