On the 28 June Liberate are launching a new initiative to help Guernsey organisations indicate their commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion and display their support visibly.
The Rainbow Mark is a visible symbol displayed by local businesses and organisations to show they are LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to fostering a supportive and welcoming culture for the LGBTQ+ community.
This new initiative aims to:
- Increase positive LGBTQ+ visibility
- Provide information, guidance and tools to enable better LGBTQ+ inclusion
- Reduce isolation and minority stress for LGBTQ+ people
- Reflect a genuine desire to recognise and respect diversity and inclusion across Guernsey.
Liberate are launching the Rainbow Mark on 28 June with several events hosted at Chamber of Commerce.

- ‘Lunch and Learn’ session from 12:30 pm, where you can find out about the Rainbow Mark, Pride Certified, and DIFERA
- Pop in during the afternoon to pick up your Rainbow Mark pack or find out more
- Join Liberate from 5:00 pm for our first LGBTQ+ Business Network mixer for LGBTQ+ professionals and allies.

The Rainbow Mark has been developed in consultation with LGBTQ+ communities and created to support LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusion across the Channel Islands.
