Guernsey Arts is seeking experienced individuals to join its Board of Directors. The primary goal is to support and enable the development of the arts in Guernsey. As the umbrella organisation for all forms of visual and performing arts across the islands, we play a key role in promoting creativity and cultural engagement in the community.

Board Director Role
This is a voluntary position with a term of 3-6 years. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the arts and are keen to contribute at a strategic level. As a board director, you will play a key role in the governance and direction of Guernsey Arts, with responsibility for leading specific projects and workstreams in line with our strategy.

Ideal Candidates Will Be

  • Highly motivated – with a deep appreciation for all forms of visual and performing arts.
  • Strategic Thinkers – able to contribute to the development and implementation of A Plan for the Arts.
  • Team Players – who thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Excellent Communicators – with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced Board or Committee Members – with a proven track record in governance or organisational leadership.
