Guernsey Employment Trust has developed a new page on their website to promote their Disability Inclusion Training. The training is designed to help you and your team embrace diversity, create a more accessible workplace environment and foster a people first culture.
They have split the training into two offerings.
A general Disability Inclusion training which provides tools and knowledge necessary to create a culture of inclusivity and understanding. It also teaches how language around disability is changing, the business case for a diverse team, tips on how to increase accessibility and provide reasonable adjustments at every stage of the employment cycle.
A more targeted workshop for managers, HR professionals and anyone involved in recruitment decisions to discuss and create deeper insight into the evolving practice of disability and inclusion.
