Barrie James Baxter

With a global business perspective and an entrepreneurial mindset, Chamber President Barrie Baxter is well placed to lead new-look Chamber on its “enterprise” basis. Barrie has a varied and high-level corporate background ranging from retail management to software creation. He brings a wealth of experience including mentoring and board engagement.

Kay Leslie

Executive Director

As Chamber Executive Director, Kay is tasked with the day-to-day running of the organisation which involves supporting the 600-strong corporate membership with events, initiatives and lobbying. She is one of six Chamber Directors. Her background is in media, business development and event planning.

Lauren Ridgwell

Events and Admin Executive

Admin and Events Executive Lauren Ridgwell is a familiar face for the hundreds of Chamber members (and potential members!) who pop into the Markets HQ on a regular basis. She ensures that the substantial amount of paperwork involved in dealing with 18,000 individuals is up to date and relevant.
