OVERVIEW

The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce is Guernsey’s largest independent business network. Primarily acting as a facilitator and enabler for Guernsey industry, we provide business support, networking opportunities, insights and communication between government and industry.

THE ROLE

Forming part of a small team, working out of Guernsey’s Market Buildings. You’ll be responsible for keeping our communications channels alive with content, including Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter and our regular email newsletters. =

The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce helps over 600 corporate members that make up Guernsey’s business community and as such your responsibilities will change from time to time and include an element of admin, so you’ll need to be adaptable and able to think on your feet.

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll be a confident self-starter and outgoing individual, ready to communicate and provide solutions for key stakeholders. A thorough interest in events and social media management is a must and whilst having prior experience would be an advantage, full training will be given.

  • Thorough command of the English language
  • Educated to at least GCSE-level or similar

THE DETAILS

The position is 25 hours per week and is currently Monday-Friday, 9am till 2 pm, however, we’re happy to be flexible for the right individual.

18 days paid holiday is included.
