Following a successful requete led by the late Deputy Jan Kuttelwascher in 2019, the Committee for Economic Development is under a States’ resolution to bring a business case and cost benefit analysis to the States of Deliberation for the extension of the runway at Guernsey Airport.
The Committee has commissioned a cost benefit analysis from Frontier Economics and was planning to submit a policy letter for consideration by the States of Deliberation in May 2023. However, due to delays in receiving some of the information relating to the potential costs of the project, the Committee for Economic Development will now submit a policy letter no later than the end of July 2023
