Guernsey Chamber has sponsored a visit by Jersey Town Manager Daphne East as part of ongoing efforts to ensure that St Peter Port remains vibrant and healthy.
A series of meetings with those in the sector, politicians and members of the public, has been arranged to enable broad discussion around the possibility of a Retail Manager being appointed.
The Industry Group, under the leadership of Jonathan Creasey, is developing a series of action points aimed at trying to underpin the health of the sector which is a crucial part of Guernsey’s economy.
This week’s visit is the latest initiative by Chamber and will be followed by other Lunch & Learn insight events in the autumn.
