Following a discussion at our sustainable food panel at the end of June, local kiosk owner Mim Sarre has committed to supplying Guernsey Welfare with two vegetable boxes per week. Chamber would encourage any businesses interested in doing similar or who are keen to consider how they can also get involved to please contact office@guernseychamber.com.
The produce included in the vegetable boxes are grown regeneratively and locally at The Soil Farm. The panel discussion talked about how more food could be produced and consumed locally while following sustainable practices.
