“Our island community has been awesomely impressive in pulling together on the health front. We now need to be highly aware of the need to support all of the people here in our various work sectors whose organisations have been badly affected and who face a challenging future.
Chamber is calling on everyone here to Buy Local and use local services whenever possible. There are times when that is just not possible but, with a greater emphasis on the benefit to our whole community, and stopping to investigate and support local options before automatically clicking “buy” online, you can convert every £1 spend here to £2.40 as it trickles through our economy.” We are working on a campaign to provide extra insight and support for our beleaguered local businesses……please spend money on-island!
