Awareness of the need to support local business in these challenging times is front of mind for Guernsey Chamber and we are encouraging all of our members, and those in the community as a whole, to consider “spending local” in the run up to Christmas and beyond.
The need to spend money on-island is crucially important as we face the effects and ongoing uncertainty around Covid, coupled with its impact on our local economy. For every £1 spent here, the trick down benefits amount to substantially more than that figure. Chamber believes that it is in all of our interests to shop here for goods and services whenever possible.
