The challenges for business around Brexit were discussed at Chamber’s first Brexit Breakfast with the States senior team. Around 85 people attended the OGH session where a detailed presentation on expected effects of both a deal or no-deal result were explained. Leading the presentation was Joe Reeve, Director of International Relations, with Chris Morris, Brexit lead and Peter Knee, Assistant Chief of the Guernsey Border Agency. The session was lead by Chamber President, Elaine Gray. All of the speakers stressed the importance for any business of considering the potential impact and preparing for the different relationship with the EU. Please follow this link to view the presentation and email office@guernseychamber.com to be put in touch with those handling the various scenarios. Chamber will hold a follow up session in mid January once the definitive Brexit deal is in operation.
