Guernsey Chamber Choir Performances in aid of Grow’s Redevelopment
Growing with Talents is an ingenious fundraiser for GROW. Based loosely on the parable of the talents Chris Claxton is inviting ten well known local people to create an item or event using ‘seed corn’ funding of £50. The money could be used to buy baking ingredients to make cakes for a ‘grand cake sale’, to organise and advertise a concert or arrange a guided tour of an intriguing part of the island with refreshments included. Proceeds will go towards GROW’s redevelopment fundraising appeal.
Growing with Talents will take place between July and December.
There are already lots of creative initiatives underway including two concerts with the Guernsey Chamber Choir and a painting by local artist Liz Adams.
