Guernsey’s Duke of Richmond Hotel introduces new

General Manager, Norbert Stump


The Duke of Richmond is delighted to introduce its new General Manager, Norbert Stump. Norbert joined the team at The Duke of Richmond, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, in June 2017 following a three year tenure as General Manager at The Coniston Hotel in North Yorkshire.

Having previously worked as General Manager at The Merton Hotel in Jersey, his familiarity with the Channel Islands and its warmer climate was a major draw for Norbert and his family. The relocation from the North of England is a fantastic opportunity for Norbert, from both a professional and personal perspective. He is looking forward to immersing himself in island life on Guernsey, as well as building relationships with local companies, travel agents and colleagues in the industry as he settles into his new role.

Norbert returns to the Red Carnation Hotel Collection following a six year stint as the Food and Beverage Manager at London properties Hotel 41 and The Rubens at The Palace, from 2004 to 2009.
