The GSPCA works 24/7 helping the animals and community of Guernsey. With over 3000 animals through our doors rescued, rehabilitated, rehomed, reunited and more the Shelter often has over 500 animals in our care.

We couldn’t help so many without the kind support of the public and the GSPCA has survived for over 145 years thanks to the generosity of the community from donations to legacies, business and CSR support, volunteers and sponsors, those using our boarding and other services, to show case just some of the ways we are supported.

The GSPCA has a team of volunteers and staff operating a professional organisation which works throughout the community from providing education services on animal welfare to investigating cruelty, supporting those in need to providing much needed training for the unemployed.

The GSPCA is based in the heart of St Andrews and operates out of 16 buildings which include an onsite Charity Shop and visitor areas open to the public 7 days a week.

The GSPCA is always keen to hear from those wishing to support our vital and much needed work and there are many ways to get involved with the current largest project being the first Wildlife Hospital in the Channel Islands.
