Deloitte’s annual International Tax Policy Debate will take place online, with Daniel Lyons, Deloitte’s UK head of tax policy and Alison Lobb, a partner specialising in international tax developments. The speakers will consider the evolving global tax landscape and issues and opportunities for the Channel Islands.

We are also delighted to welcome Deputy Gavin St Pier, Senator Ian Gorst and Tom Le Feuvre to a Q&A discussion providing the Guernsey and Jersey governments’ perspective and an update on the islands’ joint engagement with the OECD and the EU on current tax initiatives.

The session will be hosted by Deloitte Channel Islands tax partners Jo Huxtable and Martin Rowley.

Speakers

Daniel Lyons leads Deloitte’s Tax Policy Group and is a regular speaker on tax matters. He is a solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Alison Lobb specialises in transfer pricing, tax policy and international tax. Her work includes leading on Deloitte transfer pricing input to the OECD and UK government consultations on international tax matters, including the G20/OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting work.

Gavin St Pier is the President of the Policy & Resources Committee and Guernsey’s Chief Minister.

Ian Gorst is a States of Jersey Senator, former Chief Minister and a member of the Council of Ministers.

Tom Le Feuvre is Head of International Agreements at the Government of Jersey.
