Join our next Sustainable Business Initiative event to understand how Guernsey’s Climate Change Policy will affect business.

We know that to combat climate change we need to act together to reduce emissions. In 2019 the States of Guernsey voted for the Climate Change Policy by overwhelming majority. What does this mean for business?

We have set up this event to help find out. Chamber is delighted to welcome Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez, President of the Committee for Environment & Infrastructure to help us navigate this complex and challenging subject. Deputy de Sausmarez will take us through a short presentation on the relevant points of the Climate Change Policy, which will be followed by an interactive session where we’ll discuss some real challenges and opportunities.

Finally, Alex Herschel, Sustainability Lead at Guernsey Electricity and Sustainable Business Initiative committee member will share some practical steps that businesses can follow to start looking at their Life Cycle or Carbon Footprint

This event is highly relevant to all Guernsey businesses, especially those already looking to their environmental impact.
