Government have recently voted to create the Development Agency, which aims to become the coordinating authority for the integrated development and enhancement of the island’s east coast. It will act as a bridge between various political committees and public service departments, to enable the delivery of complex projects which will contribute to the island’s future economic and social success.
Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez, President of Environment and Infrastructure will open the session by setting the scene and providing an overview of the Governments current position. Following this, Chamber representative Rupert Dorey will lead the panel discussion and Q&A session that will delve into topics such as the current state of Guernsey’s infrastructure, the impact of infrastructure investment on economic growth, and the role of public-private partnerships in funding infrastructure projects.
