Guernsey Community Savings is open for business
Guernsey Community Savings wants to reassure islanders that it is open for business. The charity that helps people who have problems obtaining bank accounts through the normal channels is working remotely during lockdown.
Jane Kerins, GCS General Manager, explained:
“We are very aware that lockdown can cause big problems for anyone who doesn’t have a bank account and therefore can’t make payments with a card or online. If you are in this situation, you can still contact GCS directly or ask one of the community support agencies such as Citizens Advice to make the introduction. Similarly, if you work for an agency that is looking to refer a customer to us, please get in touch. If we are not immediately available, leave a message and we will respond as soon as we can. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org and we can be reached by phone on 01481 700360 and 07781 193069.”
